Both sensors capture together, so one flight returns coverage from ocean blue through near-IR with every band geotagged.

Satellite data tops out near 10 m (32 ft) per pixel, while pan-sharpening in the dual system reaches 2 cm (0.8 in), a gap that matters for fine-scale vegetation and habitat work. The kit contains the Blue sensor and its accessories only, so the RedEdge-P, DLS2, and CRP2 are not included.

Key Features and Benefits

Dual-camera capture: RedEdge-P and Blue sensor record 10 bands together

Ocean blue channel: 444 nm band highlights aquatic plants and algae blooms

Red edge depth: 705, 717, and 740 nm bands expose plant stress

Narrow bandwidths: tighter bands sharpen spectral accuracy across the full range

Global shutter: every band records distortion-free and aligned in each frame

Capture speed: raw DNG frames at up to 3 per second

Pan-sharpened detail: resolution reaches 2 cm (0.8 in) per pixel

Radiometric calibration: light sensor and panel keep data consistent across lighting

RTK enabled: supports georeferenced mapping data through RTK positioning workflows

Workflow fit: compatible with most professional drone platforms and Pix4D

Applications and Use Cases

Crop stress scouting: catch chlorophyll and stress changes before they spread

Weed mapping: separate crops from weeds to guide targeted treatment

Invasive species surveys: flag problem vegetation across wide survey areas

AI plant counting: machine learning models count seedlings at early growth stages

Land conservation: follow vegetation, soil, and water changes over seasons

Shoreline mapping: chart near-shore ecosystems across tidal zones and wetlands

Algae bloom detection: spot blooms and aquatic vegetation in water bodies

Research programs: collect repeatable multispectral data for environmental and conservation studies

Time series studies: compare repeat flights reliably despite changing light

Spectral depth decides which questions a survey can answer, and ten bands cover more of them than five.
